A Timorese company building infrastructure that lasts
ETO Telco, LDA is an IT services and television infrastructure company based in Dili. For more than seven years we have delivered the systems that organisations across Timor-Leste depend on — from growing local businesses to government institutions. We work on both sides of the same problem: the IT infrastructure that keeps an organisation running day to day, and the broadcast infrastructure that carries television to viewers. The engineering discipline is the same in both: plan properly, install cleanly, document everything, and be available when something needs attention.

How we got here
ETO Telco started by helping local organisations with their everyday IT: the computers, the cabling, the small server that everything depended on. The work grew as our clients did.
Over more than seven years the team has taken on larger deliveries — network distribution points, server and application platforms, and the design and implementation of a full data centre — while building a second specialisation alongside it in television infrastructure: headend systems, transmitters and antenna installations.
Those two strands come from the same conviction. Infrastructure in Timor-Leste has to cope with heat, humidity, storms and unreliable power, and equipment that was never planned for those conditions fails early. We plan for them, and we are here to fix what needs fixing.
